In line with its vision for sustainable growth and strategic diversification, El Asema Group expanded its portfolio with the establishment of El Ikhlas Factory for olive oil and pickling in Wadi El-Natrun, officially recognized as an affiliated company under El Asema Group for General Construction and Salt Export. This milestone broadened the Group’s expertise, adding premium olive oil production to its well-established leadership in salt manufacturing and construction activities.

Reinforcing its position in the salt industry, the Group launched the LOLOA SINA Factory in North Sinai and the MONER Factory in Quesna (through partnership), achieving a combined refined salt production capacity of 150,000 tons annually. Complementing these facilities, the Group also owns the Gamasa Refinery Factory for Refined Salt and Tablet Salt outright (100%), a strategic cornerstone that reflects El Asema’s independence and unwavering commitment to excellence in specialized salt production. The factory produces high-quality Tablet Salt designed to meet international standards for use in water treatment units, hospitals, and global markets.

In addition, El Asema Group operates three state-of-the-art factories for washed marine salt and crushing units, delivering a total capacity of 2,000 tons per day. These facilities ensure efficiency, consistency, and the capability to meet the ever-growing demands of both local and international markets.
